Job summary

Volta is building an external reporting function and seeks a Senior Manager, External Reporting to own group consolidation and US GAAP filings. You will draft SEC disclosures, manage tie-outs, and shape the close timetable in a pre‑IPO environment.

Reporting to the VP Accounting, you will work with the Director of Technical Accounting, own the S‑1 preparation, and lead the reporting function as Volta scales toward an eventual Director level.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant (ACA/CPA or equivalent) with 6–8+ years' experience.
• Experience drafting US GAAP financial statements and footnotes.
• Hands-on with SEC filings (S‑1, 10‑K, 10‑Q).
• Strong US GAAP disclosure & multi-entity consolidation.
• Ability to build processes from scratch and scale a team.

Responsibilities

• Own group consolidation across UK, US and Europe, including intercompany eliminations and ASC 830 translation.
• Prepare US GAAP consolidated statements with full footnotes for audit and filing.
• Draft SEC disclosures to registrant standard (S‑1, 10‑K, 10‑Q).
• Own the tie-out process and build disclosure calendars and close timetable.
• Coordinate audit deliverables through first-year fieldwork and cycles.
