Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust in Salford is seeking a Band 6 Infection Prevention and Control Nurse to join the IPC team. The post holder will support Band 7 and provide senior IPC guidance across NCA sites, with cross-site working across OCO, SCO, BCO, RCO and community services.

You will deliver expert IPC advice, lead quality improvement, and ensure compliance with Care Quality Commission standards and national guidelines while developing sustainable solutions and staff

Qualifications

• Must be a registered nurse with leadership experience in IPC.
• Experience delivering service improvements in IPC.
• Ability to work across multiple sites within the alliance.

Responsabilités

• Provide senior IPC guidance to staff across IPC services.
• Deliver expert IPC advice, education, and support to clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Lead surveillance, audits and quality improvement activities; support governance processes.
