NHS Lanarkshire is seeking an IPC data administrator to support the Infection Prevention and Control Team with data entry, quality checks and maintenance of electronic records. You will ensure data is recorded accurately to agreed timescales and help monitor infection trends and compliance.

The role includes supporting the IPC Data Manager, handling surveillance data, and contributing to audit activity across inpatient and community settings.

Formación

• Academic qualifications that require a numerical and technical content.
• Experience working in an information/statistics environment.
• Knowledge of NHS data definitions, information standards and policies is required.

Responsabilidades

• Update and interrogate departmental patient-based data capture systems (IP/OP activity, waiting returns, survey uptake).
• Liaise with data providers and resolve data quality issues.
• Provide data quality monitoring and operational reports to end users.
• Follow National Validation Error Rules and resolve data validation errors.
