It is an exciting time to be transforming our business, and you will be one of the key leaders driving strategic change, helping to adhere to regulatory and control obligations as well as achieving efficiency goals globally.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Regulatory and Controls Product Manager to join J.P. Morgan's IPB DDT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of strategies, playing a pivotal role in keeping the business and trading systems compliant across regulations, action plans, audits, and best practices.

This role requires a deep understanding of regulatory requirements, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our products meet compliance standards.

Through partnership with the business, advisors, senior leaders, designers, and technologists, the Product Manager will shape the digital controls product strategy and align priorities to solve our users’ biggest problems.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Manage Regulatory, Controls, Audit, and Action Plan requests for the Execute online and offline trading product, providing prioritization and transparency of the overall work portfolio.
2. Lead regulatory and controls product prioritization by owning the prioritization process across all stakeholders and technology teams to focus on top priority items for the firm.
3. Oversee the product development lifecycle by defining requirements (in partnership with other teams), ensuring sprint inputs (e.g., design and requirements) and outputs (e.g., tested code) are as envisioned, and providing direction and trade-off decisions for the scrum team. Collaborate with other product owners and designers to deliver end-to-end product and experience. Partner with Technology to triage issues until resolution, communicating updates and escalating as necessary.
4. Coordinate audit requests to ensure timely responses across product and technology teams.
5. Manage partner engagement by communicating updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
6. Define strategy, operating model, and roadmap to achieve vision and business goals. Develop and communicate a clear product vision for regulatory and controls solutions, aligning with business objectives and regulatory standards. Drive the product roadmap, identifying improvement opportunities within the existing pre-trade checks framework, and prioritize features to meet business and control requirements.
7. Develop and maintain relationships with delivery partners, including senior leaders, Digital, Technology, Design, Operations, and Control functions across the International region.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Mathematics, Economics, or related discipline.
• Extensive experience in Product Management/Development, Strategy, or Business Analysis, particularly in wealth management, asset management, digital banking, with a focus on regulatory and compliance solutions or leading strategic change.
• Proficient knowledge of control management concepts, operational controls frameworks, and designing/enhancing them.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into actionable product features.
• Strong understanding of trading, brokerage, and discretionary products.
• Experience managing product delivery across multiple streams, launching new products, and handling varying priorities and timelines.
• Knowledge of development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and design techniques, with the ability to lead effectively.
• Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal and project management skills, capable of engaging stakeholders at all levels and operating with a sense of urgency.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex matters clearly and concisely.
