Summary: A reputable independent pharmacy in Carmarthenshire is seeking a motivated and qualified Pharmacist, preferably with Independent Prescribing (IP) credentials, to join their dynamic team on a full-time, permanent basis. The pharmacy is committed to delivering high-quality NHS and private pharmacy services, including prescription dispensing, seasonal vaccinations, emergency medication, lifestyle support, advisory services, and more. The team is dedicated to innovation, with upcoming plans for a new PMR system to enhance pharmacy processes.

Responsibilities: As an IP Pharmacist, you will collaborate with a well-established team of Independent Prescribers, Pharmacists, Technicians, and Dispensers to provide advanced community pharmacy care. Your role will involve not only prescription management but also active participation in flu vaccinations, emergency contraception, common ailment services (including the Sore Throat Test and Treat Service), smoking cessation, and other primary care concerns. The pharmacy is committed to expanding its clinical services, providing opportunities for continuous learning, professional development, and active involvement in community care enhancement.

Person Specification:

  • (Essential) GPhC-accredited MPharm degree or equivalent
  • (Essential) Registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
  • (Desirable) Qualified Independent Prescriber
  • (Desirable) Welsh language skills
