Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a telecommunications background with a strong understanding of the Telecommunications Security Act (TSA). Responsibilities include monitoring network performance, maintaining standardisation policies, evaluating vendor updates, designing routing solutions, supporting migrations, liaising with vendors, ensuring compliance with legal and security standards, peer reviewing documentation, interacting with operational teams, providing network consultancy, and supporting process improvements.

Required Skills/Experience:

• Experience in IP, MPLS, BGP network design in a service provider environment
• Thorough understanding of IP, BGP, MPLS protocols
• Hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper core networking technologies
• Understanding of Telecommunications Transmission Systems
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience with Change Control Processes

Desired Skills:

• Experience in mobile network operator environments
• Experience with session enablement and management technologies (RADIUS, IP QoS, DNS)
• Flexibility to support out-of-hours network changes
• Collaboration and leadership skills
