Job description

Base location: Perth - Mainly remote working 2 days in Perth office per month.

Salary: to £65k dep on experience + performance related bonus + a range of other benefits to support your family, finances, and wellbeing.

Working Pattern: Permanent Full time with the option of hybrid working

The company

Neos Networks primarily operates within the B2B connectivity space, focusing on high-performance, wires-only network solutions. While the core business centres on infrastructure-level services, Neos also supports a significant Managed Services offering for a key strategic customer.

This extended service includes fully managed WAN, LAN and Wi-Fi solutions, delivered across diverse and often challenging environments. These include wind farms, hydroelectric and power stations, substations, depots, and office sites. These locations demand robust, secure, and highly available connectivity, which Neos provides through bespoke, high-resilience network architectures and 24/7 operational support.

The Role

As a member of the Managed Services Design Team, you will be responsible for translating WAN, LAN and wireless requirements into validated technical solution.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Producing comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD)
  • Creating detailed technical drawings, rack face layouts, and accurate bills of materials (BoM)
  • Ensuring all designs align with customer requirements, operational constraints, and industry best practices
  • Collaborating closely with project managers, field engineers, and stakeholders to ensure successful solution deployment

The role will also require pre-sales/bid design support, taking the requirements from internal and external customers for growth and new services.

What do I need?

To be successful in this role, you will possess (or be working towards) Cisco Certified Design / Network Professional (CCDP/NP) or have equivalent proven expertise.

You will have a technical understanding of data network technologies including IP, Ethernet, Wireless and MPLS.

Previous wireless design experience using Ekahau software would be desired.

Experience with Meraki, Juniper and Aruba hardware, SaaS/IaaS and Datacentre technologies would be advantageous, but not essential.

A working knowledge of the Telephony technologies - IP Telephony / Voice (Avaya, Mitel) and Video Conferencing would also be beneficial.
