Job summary

Birchrose Associates, a leading UK firm, seeks an IP Associate in London with 2-4 PQE to work across soft IP, trademarks and designs. The role offers exposure to sophisticated UK and international brands, advisory and dispute work, and close collaboration with partners and the broader IP team.

The ideal candidate will have strong UKIPO/EUIPO/WIPO knowledge and a track record in clearance, prosecution, portfolio management and enforcement across domestic and international matters.

Qualifications

• Qualified IP solicitor with 2–4 PQE and strong soft IP emphasis.
• Experience across trade marks, designs and related soft IP.
• Knowledge of UKIPO, EUIPO and WIPO preferred.

Responsibilities

• Advising on trade mark and design strategy, clearance and protection.
• Managing domestic and international IP portfolios.
• Worldwide filing and prosecution work.
• Advising on monitoring and enforcement strategies.
• Handling trade mark, design and copyright disputes.
• Registry disputes before IP offices.
