Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated, engaged, and passionate mid-level iOS Engineer to join the team working on the home screen on the mobile phone. It is an impactful team working on critical projects with various stakeholders from across Spotify. As part of the team, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving UI components used on the screen visited by hundreds of millions of users daily.

What You'll Do

1. Work with friendly, productive, and supportive team members
2. Bring your expertise, experience, and unique style to the team
3. Engage in challenging and high priority work that requires collaboration across teams
4. Build, maintain, and improve UI components used on the Home Screen
5. Run features from inception to rollout to end users
6. Collaborate with the Experimentation Platform when rolling out new features or running A/B tests
7. Manage complex projects with close collaboration with staff engineers
8. Mentor and support team members in their growth

Who You Are

1. You know how to write readable, idiomatic, and maintainable Swift and are willing to follow already defined coding guidelines and workflows
2. You enjoy working in a dynamic environment, and have strong communication skills given the complexity of the work
3. You are experienced with a variety of iOS frameworks
4. You care about quality and you know what it means to ship high-quality code
5. Values team success over personal success
6. It's a plus if you have a backend understanding of architecture
