The Role

Reports to: Head of Mobile

Location: WeWork Waterloo, London, UK (Hybrid - At least once per week in the office)

Comp: £60-£70k + Company Performance Bonus (10%) + Equity + UK Benefits

iProov is looking for a Mid level iOS Engineer to join our tech team in London. This role involves deep focus on native mobile technologies as well as exposure to cross-platform mobile technologies such as Flutter, Kotlin MultiPlatform, React Native and MAUI. There is a substantial element of R&D to this role, which will involve developing both proof-of-concepts and production-quality code.

What we would like to see for you

  • You have experience building and maintaining iOS Apps or SDKs (Swift)
  • You value writing simple, maintainable code to solve complex problems
  • You value software quality, leveraging testing and Continuous Integration
  • You are familiar in security best practices in the mobile space or have a keen interest in upskilling
  • You are comfortable working in a team that deals with ambiguity in a company that may change and evolve rapidly
  • You are excited about solving uncommon problems
  • You like being part of a mobile team but also work on cross functional initiatives with people from different backgrounds (Science, Backend, …)

Desired skills:

Prior experience with any of the following would be beneficial:

  • Building and maintaining an SDK

Image/video manipulation:

  • Metal (or OpenGL)
  • Hardware video encoding (iOS VideoToolbox)
  • Cross-platform technologies like Flutter, Kotlin MultiPlatform, React Native or MAUI
