Inward Investment Manager | 8078 | Secondment opportunity/Temporary contract until 01 March 2026 | 37 hours per week | £42,463 to £46,732 per annum | Grade K | Norwich
We are seeking an Inward Investment Manager to manage campaigns and projects for the Inward Investment service for Norfolk and Suffolk, to drive investment, raise the profile of the region and realise the potential of our key employment assets for a secondment until 1st March 2026.
The Inward Investment Manager will report to the Senior Inward Investment Manager. You will be part of a team ensuring we meet our obligations to the Department of Business and Trade, managing key relationships with local partners from the public, private and academic sectors.
The Inward Investment service supports companies with high-growth, high-value potential. The net impact of foreign investment into the region is responsible for a significant proportion of new jobs created per annum, the programme has successfully landed many large-scale investors over decades of support across a range of programmes and campaigns.
In this role you will support various programmes including the Norfolk Enterprise Zone and sector programmes. You will work in partnership with public sector partners, business support providers and the private sector to support economic, business and employment growth in the region.
You will be expected to work with Norfolk and Suffolk businesses or those interested in investing in Norfolk and Suffolk, with a requirement for occasional overseas travel or extended visits within the UK, outside of the county.
Potential applicants will be expected to have experience of working with local business, leading on campaigns and managing relationships with foreign investors to ensure the best outcomes for the region.
Experience of Inward Investment or related services would be advantageous along with strong project management and interpersonal skills.
