A local government authority is seeking an experienced Inward Investment Manager to drive economic growth in Gravesham. The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to attract high-value investments and will work closely with stakeholders. We are looking for a proactive and commercially minded Inward Investment Manager to join our Inclusive Growth Team. You will lead on developing and delivering the council’s 2040 Strategy and Invest in Gravesham website promoting the district as a prime location for new business growth and sustainable development. You’ll be responsible for identifying investment opportunities, engaging and working across both the public and private sectors. The successful candidate will have strong all-round communication skills to build positive working relationships within the organisation as well as with external partners, tenants, and other Council departments. The structure of local government could be changing over the next few years, and this may offer opportunities to work across a larger area.
