Job summary

Solihull College & University Centre invites applications for hourly paid invigilators to join the Examinations Department at our Stratford-upon-Avon campus. Invigilators will work variable hours and oversee both paper-based and online examinations to ensure integrity and a smooth examination experience.

We seek reliable, punctual individuals with strong written and verbal communication skills, who can remain calm and professional in a busy exam environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise paper-based and online examinations as part of the pool of Invigilators.
• Work variable hours as needed, including evenings and peak periods at Stratford-upon-Avon campus.
• Be reliable, punctual and discreet to maintain exam integrity and provide a positive candidate experience.

Job description

We are seeking to appoint hourly paid invigilators to join the Examinations Department at our Stratford-upon-Avon campus. Invigilators will work variable hours and will be assigned to paper-based and online examinations.

We are looking for individuals who are reliable and punctual with a keen eye for detail demonstrating both accurate written abilities and strong verbal communication skills. Candidates should have a calm and professional demeanour.

Applicants must be self-motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Flexibility is also required, as duties may involve travelling to other campuses and working evenings.

It is essential that candidates are available to work during the peak examination periods.
