Job description

A multi-billion dollar AUM Hedge Fund are looking to hire an exceptional individual to join their high performing London based investor relations team.

Whilst this is an investor relations role, with the opportunity to be involved in a broad range of tasks (marketing materials, investor reports, onboarding new clients etc.), core to the role is for this newly created hire to take sole ownership of the ODD process – this is a highly visible and autonomous role in a hugely prestigious, industry leading hedge fund. The hire will be the point person on ODD, both internally and externally / for investors, managing the process front-to-back, including owning ‘content’ and being the point of escalation to respond to & manage all questions and queries. The hire will also manage the CRM and typically a wide variety of projects, often attributed to process improvement / automation.

Progression prospects are not limited, including candidates that have ambitions to eventually move towards a sales/marketing role – a top performer in this role, for 2yrs minimum, can have a variety of options available to them within the firm.

Candidates should have roughly 4-8 years of relevant investor relations/ODD experience within a reputable buy-side firm or investment consultancy. Alternative investment product knowledge is highly preferred. A strong academic background is required.

The role is likely to offer up to a £100k base salary, albeit the focus is on providing the most relevant hire with an attractive step-up on his/her current base salary. The firm pride themselves as being a ‘total comp payer’, with top performers receiving very generous bonuses. An excellent benefits package includes fully subsidised breakfast, lunch, a gold star healthcare package and fully subsidised gym membership.
