Job summary

Walker Hamill is recruiting for a motivated Investor Relations Analyst for a leading private credit firm based in London with global operations. It is an IR core function handling external marketing, client communications, fundraising support and investor servicing.

Qualifications

• Strong academic record with a 2:1 or first-class undergraduate degree from a top institution.

• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and updating marketing materials.
• Conducting regular communication with investors.
• Preparing answers to fundraising due diligence requests.
• Responding to ad hoc queries and assisting in investor onboarding.
• Maintaining the CRM database.
• Building strong internal relations across the organisation to ensure support.
• Liaising with international stakeholders.

IR is a core function within the firm and is responsible for external marketing, client communication, fundraising support, and investor servicing across our clients' multiple strategies. The role provides a strong platform for future career development, and you would have significant exposure to senior stakeholders across the firm as well as the global investor base.

The responsibilities of the Investor Relations Analyst include but are not limited to:

• Preparing and updating marketing materials.
• Conducting regular communication with investors.
• Preparing answers to fundraising due diligence requests.
• Responding to ad hoc queries and assisting in investor onboarding.
• Maintaining the customer relationship management database.
• Building strong internal relations across the organisation to ensure their support in the process of gathering necessary information.
• Liaising with international stakeholders.
• Assisting with ad-hoc projects as they arise.

Key Requirements

The skills of the Investor Relations Analyst include but are not limited to:

• A strong academic record, with a 2:1 or 1st-class undergraduate degree from a top institution, ideally in Economics, Mathematics, or a finance-related subject.
• Experience in a finance or credit environment, ideally gained through a university placement or in a role straight after your studies, is desirable.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and excellent written English.
• Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel.
