As part of our dynamic investment team, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging with high-potential businesses that align with our investment strategy.

Role Overview

This role is heavily focused on research, outreach, and engagement with senior management teams. It is ideal for candidates from corporate finance (CF), private equity (PE), strategy consulting, expert networks, who aspire to specialise in origination.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Market Analysis

  • Conduct deep research into sectors of interest to identify potential investment targets.
  • Analyse industry trends, media, and news sources to identify high-growth businesses.
  • Support the investment team with research and preparation for prospect meetings.
  • Assess commercial and financial aspects of businesses to prioritise targeting efforts.
  • Present research findings in a clear, concise manner to aid decision-making.

Business Engagement & Meetings

  • Develop a pipeline of investment opportunities by approaching a high volume of businesses.
  • Utilise cold-calling, emails, and other outreach strategies to connect with key stakeholders.
  • Secure meetings with management teams and gather valuable insights for the investment team.
  • Attend meetings, document discussions, and report findings effectively.

CRM Management & Relationship Building

  • Maintain accurate records of businesses being tracked and engaged with.
  • Ensure company data is properly inputted into the CRM system, capturing key financial and shareholder information.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to refine target lists for campaigns.
  • Manage follow-ups and ensure ongoing engagement with prospective businesses.
