Job summary

AllianceBernstein’s Investments Rotational Associate Program in London provides graduates with exposure to equities, fixed income, multi‑asset and responsible investing through two years of rotations. You’ll experience fundamental and quantitative research, trading, and portfolio management across asset classes.

Selected candidates are prepared for full‑time investment roles after graduation, with in‑person work from July through mid‑September.

Qualifications

• June 2027 Bachelor’s or Master’s degree students in business, finance, economics, mathematics, computer science, engineering or similar.
• Track records of outstanding academic performance with expected minimum 2:1 grade (or equivalent).
• Strong intellectual curiosity and openness to learning about asset classes and roles.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office; experience with Python/SQL is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through equities, fixed income, multi-asset and responsible investing teams.
• Learn about investment roles including fundamental/quantitative research, trading and portfolio management.
• Engage with data science and technology innovations across rotations.
• Support onboarding and background checks; comply with UK work eligibility requirements.

Job description

What You’ll Do:

The Investments Rotational Associate Program provides selected graduates exposure to our investment teams (Equities, Fixed Income, Multi-Asset & Hedge Fund Solutions and Responsible Investing). Through several rotations, over 2 years, you will learn about the different investment roles (e.g., fundamental and quantitative research, trading, portfolio management as well as data science and technology innovation) with rotations in more than one asset class. Specific asset class placement and roles will be determined through a combination of Associate interest, company need and location specific opportunities. Our goal is to place all associates in a full-time investment role upon program graduation, however participation in this program does not guarantee an offer of future employment.

Examples of possible rotations include:

• Testing factors for inclusion in multi-asset quantitative models (Multi-Asset & Hedge Fund Solutions)
• Supporting portfolio managers in portfolio implementation and monitoring (Multi-Asset & Hedge Fund Solutions)
• Implementing quantitative research methods that leverage various data sets to enhance the investment process (Fixed Income)
• Update AB tool that identifies and quantifies material ESG factors by industry (Responsible Investing)
• Assess investee companies using our proprietary climate transition risk framework and prepare investment teams for engagements with these companies (Responsible Investing)

What We’re Looking For:

Candidates should be top academic performers, be interested in the investment management industry and meet the following criteria:

• Candidates must be able to work full-time, in-person, from the beginning of July through to mid-September
• Selected candidates will need to successfully complete a thorough background check
• It is not permissible to simultaneously take academic classes or hold other employment that will conflict with
• the internship schedule.
