Job summary
Aberdeen is seeking an experienced Investments Finance professional to partner with senior leaders in Edinburgh. You will deliver forecasting, reporting and commercial analysis, shaping management information to support strategic decisions.
In this role you will build CEO and regional reporting, develop Power BI dashboards, and collaborate across Finance and Investments to drive efficiency and clarity in cost performance. Strong accounting and relationship-building skills are essential.
Qualifications
- Experience within asset management or the wider financial services sector.
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with post-qualification experience preferred.
- Analytical mindset with ability to understand cost drivers and performance.
- Clear communicator who translates financial insights into practical recommendations.
- Collaborative team player with strong stakeholder relationship skills.
- Strong accounting, financial analysis and reporting abilities.
- Well organised with ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Finance Business Partners and senior stakeholders to deliver forecasting, reporting, commercial analysis and management information.
- Prepare monthly forecasting and annual planning processes, including workforce forecasts for ~1,900 FTE.
- Produce monthly financial reporting for Investments Executive with insightful commentary.
- Develop management information including CEO reporting, regional reporting and Power BI dashboards.
- Collaborate on projects to improve processes, reporting and efficiency across Finance and Investments.
- Build strong relationships across Finance and Investments and enhance data visualisation.
- Support Power BI capability and data visualisation across teams.
