Job summary

Invesco is seeking an Advanced Engineer in Investment Technology to design, build and support solutions that advance business capabilities across the platform. You will work in a squad, delivering across the full SDLC with emphasis on CI/CD, testing, code quality and data quality controls.

The role involves exposure to AI/ML and GenAI approaches, collaboration with Cloud Teams and Enterprise Architecture, and implementing modern engineering practices within a hybrid working model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology or a related technical field.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with modern UI frameworks (Streamlit or ReactJS).
• Experience with cloud data platforms (Snowflake, PostgreSQL).
• Exposure to AI/ML techniques and GenAI concepts.
• Familiarity with AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, deploy and support applications and services (Streamlit or ReactJS) across the Cloud environment.
• Apply AI-assisted development tooling to accelerate coding, testing, deployment and delivery.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Follow CI/CD, automated testing, code quality, observability and data quality controls.
• Support data quality, monitoring and reporting activities.
• Work with Cloud Teams, Enterprise Architecture and Security to ensure enterprise alignment.
• Develop software, data pipelines and analytical workflows for investment analytics.
