Job description

Responsibilities

  1. Strategic alignment and design of index-based and active UCITS ETFs.
  2. Idea generation – identify, research, and assess ETF product and business opportunities across multiple exposures and asset classes, ensuring regulatory compliance.
  3. Collaborate with portfolio managers to design and implement portfolio construction.
  4. Work closely with product development and strategy teams on new product launches and liaising with other divisions.
  5. Research and analyze ETF product performance, industry landscape, and peer performance.
  6. Provide Portfolio Manager perspectives on investment strategy and positioning to internal and external partners.
  7. Contribute to ETF thought leadership and white papers for client engagement.
  8. Educate internal teams on ETF investment strategies and products, articulating investment philosophy, process, and performance.
  9. Maintain expertise on ETF vehicles and European regulatory environment.
  10. Prepare and deliver pitches to prospective clients.
  11. Represent the firm as an ETF subject matter expert at events.

Qualifications

  1. Degree level, CFA or master’s in finance or economics beneficial.
  2. Experience in markets or ETFs, with client presentation and firm representation experience.
  3. Strong financial market knowledge across asset classes.
  4. Knowledge of asset management trends and regulations.
  5. Willingness to learn, proactive, detail-oriented, and team-focused.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
