We seek an Investment Specialist to support our partnership's success by aiding the launch, development, and evaluation of capabilities and propositions, ensuring our offerings meet Partner Fund needs amidst changing priorities, objectives, and opportunities.

The role – your responsibilities include:
  • Partnering with the Head of Change and Investments Team to coordinate the delivery and launch of new or evolved investment propositions and capabilities with Partner Funds, including services like rebalancing, hedging, or cash flow management.
  • Collaborating with Customer Relationship Managers to understand Partner Fund objectives, needs, and beliefs, ensuring these are reflected in decision-making.
  • Supporting stakeholder management throughout proposition and capability development or launches.
  • Assisting in the presentation of propositions and capabilities to Partner Funds and the market, including preparing presentations.
  • Responding to technical queries regarding our investment offerings.
  • Maintaining relationships with investment consultants and advisors, understanding their views of Border to Coast and our propositions.
  • Supporting the transition of assets to pool management based on Partner Fund plans and opportunities.
  • Recording opportunities and assets at risk in the CRM system.
  • Identifying and reporting risks across responsibilities and the organization.

  • Strong understanding of financial markets, asset classes, and investment management services.
  • Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance related to investment propositions.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and interpret financial data.
  • Experience engaging with customers and tailoring solutions.
  • Effective stakeholder engagement skills across internal teams and clients.
  • Strong presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Deep understanding of customer needs and consensus-building skills.
