Our client, a leading global investment manager, is looking for a technical, CFA-qualified investment specialist with a good understanding of Investment Trust to join their Investment Companies team in London. The successful person will be responsible for the management of the internal stakeholder relationships across the organisation and be a subject matter expert regarding their Investment Trust business.

Responsibilities

• Lead corporate activity delivery for the business
• Support the Head of Investment Companies and business team IC leads in the day-to-day management of the companies
• Develop the technical knowledge of earlier career-stage team members
• Ensure accuracy of reporting and documentation
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, including fund accounting, compliance, operations, and other core functions
• Drive successful execution of significant corporate transactions

Requirements

• 8 years + experience within an asset management firm as an Investment Specialist, Product Manager, Client Portfolio Manager, or product strategist.
• Excellent knowledge of listed investment companies and corporate finance
• Experience working with investment trusts/companies and/or CFA/CAIA charter
• Core understanding of the legal and regulatory environment
• Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
• Strong understanding of the competitive landscape
• Ability to understand client needs and translate them into market-leading products
