Job summary

Pontoon is seeking experienced Technical Business Analysts to join a major financial services transformation programme in Leeds. The role focuses on defining end-to-end business processes, supporting the migration of assets and accounts to a new investment platform, and detailing data flows and operational dependencies.

You will work across Product, Operations, Engineering and SME teams to translate complex environments into clear documentation, process maps and controls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience mapping end-to-end business processes in financial services.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across Product, Operations and Tech teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into clear, detailed documentation.
• Experience facilitating workshops with SMEs to validate designs.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of complex business and technical areas and map end-to-end processes.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, Engineering, Architecture and Risk SMEs to define requirements.
• Produce detailed process maps covering system interactions and hand-offs.
• Document data flows, controls, exceptions and dependencies.
• Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
• Ensure alignment between business needs and system design with technical teams.
• Create artefacts to support solution design, development and testing.
• Facilitate workshops to validate current-state processes and design future-state solutions.
• Challenge existing approaches to improve efficiency, automation and control.
