Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in investment operations within financial services, wealth management, brokerage, or fintech.
• Hands-on experience in trading, reconciliation, settlement, or corporate actions.
• Strong understanding of investment operations processes and controls.
• Able to work in a deadline-driven operational environment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out daily operational processes across trading, reconciliation, settlement, and corporate actions activities.
• Complete time-sensitive operational tasks accurately and on time, with audit trails and documentation.
• Investigate operational breaks, exceptions, and failed transactions, ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitor and reconcile operational data across internal and external systems.
• Support improvements to operational processes and controls to reduce risk and improve efficiency.
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and support automation initiatives.
• Partner with Client Experience, Product, and Compliance teams when input or investigation is required.
• Ensure all activities align with FCA requirements, including AML/KYC, CASS, and Consumer Duty obligations.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Client Operations Analyst to join our Investment Operations team. You’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth, accurate, and compliant running of our day-to-day investment operations, supporting reliable trading activity, asset servicing, and operational control across the platform.

This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, dependable, and organised, and who enjoys working in a fast-paced, regulated environment where accuracy and good judgement really matter.

You’ll work closely with Client Experience, Product, and Compliance teams and have the autonomy to own operational processes from end to end.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out daily operational processes across trading, reconciliation, settlement, and corporate actions activities
• Complete time-sensitive operational tasks accurately and on time, maintaining clear audit trails and documentation
• Investigate operational breaks, exceptions, and failed transactions, ensuring timely resolution
• Monitor and reconcile operational data across internal and external systems

What We’re Looking For

• At least 4 years of experience in investment operations within financial services, wealth management, brokerage, or fintech
• Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas: trading, reconciliation, settlement, or corporate actions
• Understanding of investment operations processes and controls
• Comfortable working in a deadline-driven operational environment
• Strong analytical skills and a structured, thoughtful approach to problem-solving
• Clear communicator who knows when and how to raise risks or concerns
• Professional, dependable, and collaborative mindset

  Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with SQL or operational tooling
  • Experience contributing to process improvements or system changes
  • Experience working in investment, wealth management, or fintech start-ups and scale-ups
