Job summary

Axon Moore are partnering with an established Preston business to recruit an experienced Operations Accountant. This hands-on role supports investment operations, cash management and financial reporting, working closely with internal finance teams and external partners to ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting.

You will contribute to statutory reporting, financial controls and external audit, while identifying opportunities to automate processes and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with strong experience in investment accounting.
• Proven ability in financial reporting and operational finance.
• Comfortable in deadline-driven environments and building relationships.

Responsibilities

• Oversee investment accounting activities and ensure accurate recording.
• Manage daily cash positions with fund managers and stakeholders.
• Support financial close, reconciliations and disclosures.
• Assist external audit and strengthen financial controls.
• Identify opportunities to automate and standardize reporting.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to deliver operations.
