Axon Moore Group Ltd in Preston is recruiting an experienced Operations Accountant to support investment operations, cash management and financial reporting for the group. The role collaborates with internal Finance teams and external partners to ensure accurate accounting and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with experience in investment accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in operational finance and cash management.
• Familiar with external audit processes and statutory reporting.

Responsibilities

• Support investment accounting activities, ensuring transactions are recorded accurately.
• Assist daily cash positions management with Fund Managers and stakeholders.
• Help ensure operations and controls operate effectively, with issues resolved promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver operational activities.
• Support statutory close, reconcile balance sheet accounts with documentation.
• Ensure journals, accruals and disclosures are complete and timely.
• Support external audit with required information and documentation.
• Maintain and enhance financial controls, ensuring key controls operate effectively.
• Contribute to remediation and maintain process narratives and control matrices.
• Identify opportunities to improve statutory reporting, reconciliations and close processes.
• Support automation and standardisation across reporting and control activities.
