We’re looking for an Investment Manager to join our Market Solutions team within Legal & General Retirement Institutional (LGRI). This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact by optimising investment outcomes for both new and existing business, while collaborating with a diverse range of stakeholders.
What you'll be doing:
- Monitoring markets and identifying asset allocation opportunities to enhance risk-adjusted returns
- Managing end-to-end investment processes for new business transactions, including transition and hedging
- Creating holistic asset-side solutions to support pension scheme de-risking
- Assessing new asset classes for viability and refining pricing parameters
- Collaborating across teams to ensure tools and systems support financial and non-financial goals
- Contributing to investment strategy with a focus on ALM and liquidity management
- Advising on regulatory implications and supporting organisational change
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective delivery
Qualifications - Who we're looking for:
- Strong quantitative skills with a numerate degree or postgraduate qualification (desirable)
- Deep understanding of insurance balance sheets, capital, and profit reporting
- Proven experience in asset liability management and investment strategy
- Strong knowledge of capital markets, derivatives, and asset valuation models
- Familiarity with Solvency II and regulatory frameworks
- Commercial mindset with the ability to manage balance sheet risks strategically
- Excellent communication skills and ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders
- Collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering positive customer outcomes
