Job Description

Are you passionate about investment strategy and delivering innovative solutions? We seek an Investment Manager for our Market Solutions team within Legal & General Retirement Institutional (LGRI). This role offers the opportunity to optimize investment outcomes for new and existing business, collaborating with diverse stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Monitoring markets and identifying asset allocation opportunities to improve risk-adjusted returns
2. Managing end-to-end investment processes for new transactions, including transition and hedging
3. Creating asset-side solutions for pension scheme de-risking
4. Assessing new asset classes and refining pricing parameters
5. Collaborating across teams to support financial and non-financial goals
6. Contributing to investment strategy focused on ALM and liquidity management
7. Advising on regulatory implications and organizational change
8. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships for effective delivery

Qualifications

Who we're looking for:

1. Strong quantitative skills with a numerate degree or postgraduate qualification (desirable)
2. Deep understanding of insurance balance sheets, capital, and profit reporting
3. Experience in asset liability management and investment strategy
4. Knowledge of capital markets, derivatives, and asset valuation models
5. Familiarity with Solvency II and regulatory frameworks
6. Excellent communication skills and stakeholder influence ability
7. Collaborative approach with a commitment to delivering positive outcomes
