The role’s focus is to foster, promote, and facilitate collaboration in fund management practices across front line investment areas in relation to the Strategic Target Operating Model. The team’s remit is broad, engaging with fund management, senior management, technology, product development, operations, finance, and Change.
What you'll be doing:
- Being responsible for defining best practice in investment process across investment teams in LGIM and LGIMA.
- Enhancing operational efficiency through promotion and facilitation of increased collaboration between investment teams globally.
- Providing thought leadership in introducing consistency in process design by working in partnership with the global investment teams – understanding their existing challenges and trade-offs to determining the right outcome for business areas and LGIM and LGIMA.
- Engaging with technology on behalf of Investment teams to define best-in-breed system solutions for a global operating model.
- Engaging with business partners across middle and back office to develop a robust and scalable end-to-end global investment framework.
- Identifying and reviewing existing business overlaps and recommending appropriate centralisation.
- Identifying sources of operational risk in the global investment process and determining appropriate solutions to mitigate these risks.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end investment process.
- A deep appreciation of investment and operational risk.
- Experience in technology migration and investment process design across asset classes and instruments.
- Proven track record in increasing scalability in an investment context.
- Ability to generate positive outcomes with stakeholders.
- Dynamic individual with an outcome-oriented outlook.
- Ability to assess and generate progressive solutions.
