Investment Finance Manager Role in London - Eximius Finance (Full Time)
Location: London, England

Description

This role involves developing and supporting financial management, analysis, and management information (MI) for the investment fund. Responsibilities include operating cost reporting, project finance reporting, producing fund and portfolio-level P&L statements, supporting business case development, and handling ad hoc analysis requests. The role also involves supporting the budgeting process and overseeing invoice management processes.

Key deliverables:

  • Produce monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc departmental and asset management cost analysis reports for senior management, including product, asset class, and sub-portfolio TERs (Total Expense Ratios) and P&L figures.
  • Maintain the Investment Division headcount records and coordinate with the HR team to track staff movements accurately.
  • Verify project costs and challenge budget holders to maintain cost control.
  • Oversee the invoicing process, ensuring timely authorization and payment, liaising with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders.
  • Support ad hoc SAP data and reporting requests.
  • Coordinate with the Finance team to verify and reconcile monthly management accounts.
  • Manage accruals and prepayment journals related to costs.
  • Collaborate with budget holders to prepare annual budgets, half-yearly, and Q3 forecasts, providing analysis and reporting.
  • Assist with Budget/Forecast reporting to the board.
Person Specifications
  • Qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) with experience in Investment Management, Asset Ownership, or Financial Services.
  • Management or cost accounting experience, with ERP proficiency and the ability to manipulate large data sets.
  • Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, with excellent presentation capabilities.
  • Managerial experience, including managing teams, setting objectives, coaching, and mentoring, is valuable.
  • Right to work in the UK without sponsorship.
