  • Track and manage leads effectively to provide accurate management information data.

  • Deliver consistent, strong portfolio performance, benchmarked against key industry standards.

  • Develop tailored and scalable investment solutions through rigorous review of current products and in-depth research.

  • Ensure thorough due diligence on all portfolio proposals, reflecting clients’ investment profiles.

  • Work closely with introducers and the BM team to address and resolve client issues promptly.

  • Apply appropriate and competitive pricing for investment mandates, following any revisions to proposals or service expectations.

  • Gather and analyse market intelligence and client insights, collaborating with product specialists to design innovative products that enhance client portfolios.

  • Maintain relationships with segment leaders, investment platforms, and product specialists to provide insights for potential product development and service opportunities.

  • Enhance and grow the reputation of Brooks Macdonald within the region.

  • Support the team in achieving overall budget and individual team and company targets.

  • Perform role always ensuring adherence to the expected behaviours stated in the FCA Conduct Rules.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
  • Extensive experience in investments with a strong track record of minimal client complaints and compliance issues.

  • Deep understanding of investment propositions for private clients, investment strategy, and asset allocation.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory requirements around investments.

  • Current and historical SPS.

  • Expertise in all aspects of portfolio construction, including risk and attribution management.

  • Broad and in-depth investment product knowledge.

  • Proven ability in process and procedure implementation.

  • Demonstrable leadership potential.

  • Proven capability to engage diverse clients, fund managers, and product providers to drive business growth.

  • Relevant qualifications to carry out certified requirements of the role.

We value different ways of working and actively promote flexible working across our business. Collaboration is important to us as a firm, with employees required to be in the office 3 days a week, and each team having a core in-office day per week.

We’re committed to promoting equal employment opportunities and positively encourage applications from suitably qualified candidates regardless of race, religion or belief, sexuality, age, disability, gender, gender identity, marital status or pregnancy and maternity.
