A leading global financial services company in London is seeking a Senior Analyst for their Investment Banking division. The role involves providing strategic advisory services to financial institutions and participating in transaction execution. Ideal candidates will have over one year of investment banking experience and strong communication skills. The Investment Banking Senior Analyst (the “Senior Analyst”) is an intermediate level position responsible for providing bespoke strategic advisory services to clients within the Financial Institutions Group (FIG). The Senior Analyst is expected to work with Senior Bankers across EMEA in business origination and execution across Citi’s product set, with particular focus on episodic and strategic financing transactions, including M&A and capital markets access. The overall objective of this role is to drive revenue by cross-selling the Citi platform while efficiently deploying the firm's capital and evaluating and managing risk, specifically for financial institutions. This position is dedicated to the Financial Institution Group (FIG) and focuses on financial institutions as clients, ranging from banks, insurers, diversified finance players, as well as Fintech companies and asset managers.

For this reason, you will be assessed for this role against the Fit and Proper requirements, as described above. This assessment will be carried out through extensive interviews, self-disclosures, permitted criminal record checks, regulated reference checks, credit checks and other background screening checks.
