A leading financial services firm in London is looking for an Associate in the Investment Banking EMEA M&A team. You will drive M&A transactions in the Consumer & Retail sector while working alongside expert professionals. Ideal candidates will have investment banking experience and strong financial modelling skills. Opportunities for training and development will be provided in a dynamic work environment.
Our product group is focused on the origination and execution of public and private M&A transactions within the Consumer & Retail sector. You will get exposure to the largest clients within J.P. Morgan's Consumer & Retail franchise across all regions in EMEA, and across all types of transactions including sell-sides, buy-sides, public-to-private, carve-outs, etc.
As an Associate in the Investment Banking EMEA M&A team, you will play a central role in advising clients with respect to Consumer & Retail M&A transactions. You will have great exposure in a variety of the landmark M&A transactions that take place in EMEA, working closely with country and the Consumer & Retail coverage teams in the bank, whilst being part of a group that consistently ranks as one of the EMEA's pre-eminent M&A advisory franchises.
You will work with expert professionals at the heart of a leading global investment bank and will get exposure to formal training, hands-on learning opportunities, continuous mentoring and feedback, and numerous development opportunities. You will develop strong skills in the major areas of investment banking and will be given the opportunity to develop into a senior officer who is capable of generating and executing their own transactions.
This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
