About the Role

A top-performing US boutique investment bank is seeking a high-calibre Associate (Level 1 preferred) to join its expanding Consumer M&A team in London. This is a unique opportunity to join a globally integrated platform with deep sector expertise and a strong track record in sell-side advisory.

You'll be a core member of the deal team, expected to take ownership of key workstreams and contribute meaningfully to live transactions and business development efforts. The role offers exposure to high-growth sub-sectors and frequent collaboration with colleagues across international offices.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the execution of sell-side M&A transactions
• Take ownership of drafting marketing materials (CIMs, teasers, management presentations), with minimal oversight
• Manage VDD (Vendor Due Diligence) workstreams and coordinate with third-party advisors
• Lead Q&A processes and manage data room diligence
• Directly supervise and mentor Analysts and interns, ensuring high-quality output and development
• Conduct in-depth industry and company research
• Collaborate with colleagues across other global offices.
• Contribute to business development and sector coverage initiatives

Candidate Must-Haves

• Sell-side M&A experience at a competitive investment banking platform
• Demonstrated time in the ASC seat, with clear ownership of deliverables and workstreams
• Proven ability to lead drafting of materials and manage diligence processes
• Experience managing junior team members
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and project management abilities
• Please note: Senior Analyst profiles will not be considered

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior exposure to or a strong interest in the Consumer & Retail sector
• Nordic or Dutch language skills are a plus
