Investment Associate/Senior Associate, Impact-led Mid-Market Private Equity Investor, London, UK

About our client
We are working with a pioneering Private Equity fund that invests into sustainable solutions, driving long-term environmental and economic resilience, with a focus on businesses that are having a direct impact on the energy transition and sustainability. The firm works closely with its portfolio companies to guide them through rapid, yet sustainable growth. They are looking to add a high-calibre Associate to join the team in London, where you will get exposure to multiple fund strategies with a focus on UK investments. You will be involved in new deals and portfolio management, working closely with the firm's partners on a global basis.

What the job involves

  • Perform sector, strategic and financial analysis of target companies
  • Hands-on involvement in transaction execution (structuring, tax, due diligence, investment strategy, financial modelling)
  • Assist and or lead in the preparation of models and analyse financial and operational performance of new and existing portfolio business
  • Supporting the investment committee

Who we are looking for

  • Experience in a Private Equity investment role. Exceptional candidates may be considered from Corporate Finance
  • Entrepreneurial and a self-starter, willing to get involved throughout the entire deal process
  • Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
  • Compelling written and oral communication skills and fluency in English; ability to interact with key stakeholders internally and externally with a wide range of seniority
