Job description

Investment Associate – Global Energy Investment Platform

Investment Associate sought by a top-tier energy investment platform with a growing presence across the Renewable Energy and Cleantech segments. Joining the London HQ, you will work closely with senior colleagues supporting origination and execution of principal investments across the Energy spectrum.

The successful Investment Associate will have around 2-5 years’ experience supporting energy investment. Background could be Investment Banking, Boutique advisory, Investment Management, or a related function. Initially, you will work closely with an Investment Director helping to assess deals, leading on the financial modelling, and supporting various due diligence work streams. The ambition to progress quickly as you become suitably experienced.

Responsibilities
  • At least 2 years’ experience in an analytical role in a top-tier global financial institution or private equity fund, ideally focusing on the energy space across the value chain – notably in the energy transition and mobility space or mid and downstream segments.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with Excel and PowerPoint capabilities.
  • Experience in industry due diligence and financial modelling.
  • Ideally, a related degree in a technical/financial discipline and an outstanding academic record.
