Job summary

A leading investment firm in London is seeking an Investment Associate to manage deal execution processes including underwriting and financing. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience in real estate private equity or corporate finance, preferably within the logistics sector. This role offers competitive salary and performance-related bonuses, within a small, dynamic team environment.

Qualifications

  • Must have 3-5 years of relevant experience in real estate private equity, corporate finance, or capital markets.
  • Logistics/industrial exposure is strongly preferred, MLI experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Excel skills required for cashflows and debt schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Own deal execution across underwriting, investment committee, financing, and completion.
  • Work on the execution of new acquisitions.
  • Contribute to market intelligence, due diligence, and value creation.

Overview

The Company and Role Summary

A specialist UK logistics & industrial development and asset manager focused on executing value-add and development strategies is seeking an investment Associate to join their growing team prompted by recently acquisitions and growing PE partner interest. The role purpose is ownership of deal execution across underwriting, IC, financing, and completion working alongside the Partners.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

Being part of a small team, this person will gain broad exposure to the investment process working on the execution of new acquisitions. Key areas of role coverage will include:

  • Market Intelligence
  • Underwriting & Investment Committee
  • DD and execution
  • Value Creation & Portfolio
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
  • 3–5 years in real estate private equity/principal, corporate finance or capital markets investment focused.
  • Logistics/industrial exposure strongly preferred (MLI a plus).
  • Advanced Excel (fully integrated cashflows, debt schedules, waterfalls).
  • Demonstrated execution across at least 2 closed transactions, ideally in the UK.
  • High ownership bias, deadline discipline, and comfort in a lean team.
Salary & Remuneration

A salary range of £75,000- £100,000, dependant on experience, plus a discretionary, performance related bonus at PE level.
