Job description

Our client, an impressive credit fund, is seeking to add an experienced US credit analyst to their growing London-based investment team.

The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to analyse and invest across both the high yield bond, leveraged loan and/or distressed credit universe, with a particular focus on the US corporate credit market.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Being involved in the full investment process, from generating ideas to executing trades and portfolio management
  • Developing and maintaining deep understanding of US and European credit markets, spanning high yield, leveraged loans, distressed/special situations
  • Working closely with senior team members across analysis, portfolio management, and trading functions

Our client would expect the candidate to have gained a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar investment seat with a deep knowledge of US credit and familiarity of related topics (Bankruptcy laws, etc.) . Or have gained previous experience covering the US leveraged loan and high yield market in a research, restructuring or trading seat.
