The successful candidate will conduct research on global trends, analyse investment opportunities, and support transaction executions. Candidates should have 3-6 years of relevant experience in Private Equity or Investment Banking and strong analytical and financial modelling skills. Fluency in Greek is essential for this position.

Overview

Our client is looking to onboard an Investment Analyst or Associate, depending on experience, to their team in Athens

Please note this is an Athens-based role and fluency in Greek is essential

Responsibilities
  • Conduct research on global trends, sectoral themes, and competition dynamics
  • Analyse and evaluate new investment and business opportunities
  • Conduct financial analysis, modelling, and valuation analysis to support investment decisions
  • Support on the execution of transactions, including participation in due diligence sessions (commercial & operational, financial, etc) and preparation of investment memos
  • Design, implement and monitor strategic planning and value creation projects of our portfolio companies
  • Continuously monitoring portfolio companies by analysing and evaluating their operating and financial performance
  • Collaborate and communicate with portfolio companies on strategic projects.
  • Assist portfolio companies in their business development and M&A projects
  • Engage in investment management activities of the group and develop financial skills and strategic thinking
Requirements
  • 3 – 6 years of prior relevant working experience (Private Equity, M&A, Investment Banking etc.) – prior investment experience is not mandatory but considered a plus
  • Strong analytical, financial modelling and presentation skills are essential
  • Experience with preparing investment memos and LBO modelling
  • Excellent project management capabilities, ability to coordinate complex initiatives with multiple stakeholders
