We are seeking a dynamic Investment Analyst to join the core team at ASE, focusing on our renewable energy portfolio across the UK, the Netherlands, and Germany. This role offers a unique opportunity to thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, requiring the ability to juggle multiple tasks independently and efficiently.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and maintain financial models for project financing, updating models regularly to meet lender requirements and conduct sensitivity analysis.
  2. Support due diligence processes by providing requested data, documentation, and detailed explanations of financial models and key assumptions.
  3. Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, development, technical, finance) and external sources to gather, validate, and monitor key project assumptions.
  4. Manage and update the operational models throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the alignment with lender requirements and evolving project needs.
  5. Assist in regular reporting to lenders, including updates on financial models, covenant calculations, and portfolio performance metrics, ensuring timely and accurate compliance.

Requirements:

  1. A minimum of two years' experience in excel modelling, financial analysis, and valuations.
  2. A minimum of one year's experience related to energy, infrastructure, or capital-intensive projects.
  3. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  4. Strong positive attitude towards work and goal achievement, with the ability to meet tight deadlines and work effectively with minimal supervision.
  5. Ability to focus on accuracy and detail, ensuring consistency and precision in all financial data, reports, and models.
  6. Team-oriented, enthusiastic, and committed to contributing to our collective goals.
  7. Fluent in English; proficiency in another European language (German or Dutch) is preferred but not mandatory.
  8. Knowledge of Python, VBA, or another programming language is an advantage.
