A private equity-backed media business in London is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its growing team. The role involves conducting industry research, building financial models, and monitoring portfolio companies. Candidates should have 2-4 years of experience in valuations or M&A, ideally with a background in finance or related fields. Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in a valuations or M&A role, gained in Big 4, consulting, or investment banking.
  • Exposure to TMT/Media or related sectors is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience with Python or R is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data to support decision-making.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Intellectual curiosity and the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

We are working with a leading, private equity-backed media business that is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its growing team. In this role, you will be involved in investment evaluations and acquisitions, portfolio monitoring, and the broader deal process. You will regularly interact with management and seasoned industry professionals while working closely with various internal teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed industry, market, and company-specific research.
  • Assist in building financial models to evaluate new investment opportunities.
  • Support the management and monitoring of existing portfolio companies, including the preparation of investment committee memos and presentations.
  • Collaborate with management teams to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Prepare quarterly reviews and reports on portfolio company performance and market trends.
