Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a National Financial Planning company that is looking to hire an Investment Administrator in their London office.

The company is an award-winning team of Independent Financial Advisers providing a personal, independent, and bespoke wealth management service to high net worth clients.

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity as part of their expansion of the investment team. They seek a proven administrator eager to develop professionally towards investment qualifications and establish a career in investments. The role involves supporting investment analysts and the investment committee with administrative tasks to ensure excellent service to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support Analysts in conducting investment research.
  • Manage the monthly investment update sent to the wider business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Update portfolio factsheets monthly.
  • Ensure all platforms and internal systems are updated following portfolio rebalances.
  • Liaise with stakeholders during portfolio rebalancing to provide necessary information.
  • Act as a point of contact for adviser investment queries.
  • Keep internal systems updated with changes in buy lists and on-panel products.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • At least three years’ experience in a related role.
  • Proficiency in FE Analytics.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including macros and handling large data sets.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently.
  • Experience in rebalancing portfolios/funds.
  • Experience with multiple investment platforms.
  • Proactive in identifying improvement areas.
  • Progress towards industry-recognized qualifications is a plus.
