The successful candidate will be an integral part of investigating major and complex crimes, including serious and organised crime, complex non-recent abuse cases, and cold cases of homicide and rape, under the direction of the Head of Crime or Senior Investigating Officer team.
They will work as part of a team and conduct investigations under guidance, completing Major Incident Room (MIR) actions with the aim of identifying, gathering, securing, and preserving evidence and other relevant material, including third-party material, to ensure a fair investigation and trial.
