Northumbria Police is seeking an Investigation Support Officer in Newcastle to join Team NP. You will support criminal investigations by handling evidence, liaising with victims and witnesses, and aiding officers throughout the process.
This is a permanent band 5 role based at Forth Banks Police Station, 2 x 37 hours per week, with a focus on upholding professional standards and delivering a high-quality service to communities.
Salary: Band 5, £28,689 - £29,859 (Please note it is Northumbria Police policy to appoint at the beginning of the band)

Join Northumbria Police as an Investigation Support Officer and play a vital role in helping to prevent and detect crime while safeguarding vulnerable people across our communities. Working as part of a dedicated investigation team, you will provide essential support to operational officers and staff, assisting with the gathering, development and management of evidence to support criminal investigations. Your work will contribute directly to achieving positive outcomes for victims and ensuring investigations are progressed efficiently and professionally.

These are permanent roles subject to a six-month probationary period.
