Northumbria Police is seeking an Evidential Property Coordinator within the Business Services Department. Base location is negotiable; travel across force sites to support operational requirements.
You’ll plan and coordinate daily activities for the Evidential Property team and act as the primary point of contact to ensure smooth operations. This role focuses on stakeholder management, customer service solutions, and effective service delivery to support force objectives.
Salary: Band 5, £28,689 – £29,859 (Please note it is Northumbria Police policy to appoint at the beginning of the band)
Location: Base location negotiable. You will be based at one of our six stations (Millbank, Southwick, Forth Banks, Etal Lane, Middle Engine Lane, or Bedlington) and will travel regularly across property sites throughout the force area to support operational requirements.

This is a fast-paced and enjoyable role where you’ll plan and coordinate daily activities for the Evidential Property team, managing proactive demand and acting as the primary point of contact. Your excellent organisational skills and enthusiasm for challenges will be crucial in ensuring smooth operations. Service delivery is key, so you’ll need to keep stakeholders informed and provide exceptional customer service.
Due to the nature of the role the postholder will be required to travel extensively and independently across various force locations, often daily and at short notice, in response to operational needs.
This is a varied role where you’ll also provide support to staff across the force. You’ll need be flexible with your approach and location. Whilst you will have an operational base, you will be expected to work at different sites as directed by your manager throughout the week to support both staff and operational requirements.
