Job summary

Service Care Solutions is recruiting an Investigation Supervisor (Op Warden) for a 2-week full-time contract in Ashton-under-Lyne. The role requires PIP2 accreditation and experience managing investigations within a policing context.

You will oversee investigative standards for complex hate crime cases, allocate workloads, supervise case-building, and ensure evidence quality while collaborating with partner agencies and specialist teams to sustain a high-quality response during peak demand.

Qualifications

• PIP2 accreditation held by the candidate.
• Experience supervising investigations and managing workloads.
• Background in hate crime investigations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of investigative standards for complex hate crime investigations
• Allocate and manage workloads across investigators to meet operational demand
• Support the performance and development of investigators within the team
• Supervise case building to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with PIP 2 expectations
• Take responsibility for evidence gathering and quality assurance of case files
• Work collaboratively with Investigation Teams, Neighbourhood Policing, and specialist partners
• Support a high-quality investigative response during periods of increased demand and community tensions
