About Us
Jimmy’s Farm & Wildlife Park has been experiencing exciting and sustained growth since 2018. As part of our ongoing development, we are expanding our Ranger team and are now seeking an experienced and passionate Invertebrate Rangerto join our dedicated animal care team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in a dynamic and evolving collection. You will be actively involved in all aspects of animal husbandry, welfare monitoring, enrichment, and enclosure management, while also supporting our broader conservation and education goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out daily husbandry and feeding routines
  • Delivering species-appropriate enrichment and behavioural monitoring
  • Assisting with veterinary checks and health procedures
  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and biosecurity
  • Completing accurate records and daily reports
  • Supporting educational activities and public engagement
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a zoo, wildlife park, or similar professional animal care setting
  • Proven experience working with invertebrates
  • Strong understanding of modern zoo practices, animal welfare, and industry standards
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
