We are currently recruiting an Inventory Supervisor based at our Derby Site (DE65 6BG). The working pattern for this role is Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:30. This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of £30,366.39 (depending on experience).

As an Inventory Supervisor you will oversee the effective running of the warehouse operation, including supporting Customer Inventory Administrator stock integrity within the contract, ensuring all stocks are accounted for and KPIs are met.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain good customer relationships both internal and external, acting as the key customer contact for queries.
  • Attend regular inventory meetings to review performance and issues, providing accurate data in accordance with customer expectations.
  • Continuously look to improve processes and procedures to drive efficiency and improvement in business operation and customer service.
  • Ensure all company procedures are adhered to including ER procedures, such as absence and performance management, standards of behaviour, disciplinary, PDR, etc., supporting with investigations and disciplinary hearings as necessary.
  • Ensure all team members receive appropriate training and development, mentoring and support, as necessary.
  • Ensure expected levels of performance are achieved in the team and that all employees\' PDRs are completed on time.
  • Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, taking appropriate action where procedures are not being adhered to or could be improved.
Key Requirements
  • Previous inventory/stock control experience
  • Previous experience in inventory management/control
  • Knowledge / operational experience of WMS Scale (Desirable)
  • Awareness of KAIZEN principles
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to effectively deal with and resolve problems
