Job summary

Burberry is hiring a Planning Manager, Inventory Planning to shape Burberry’s global inventory strategy and lead Open to Buy planning across regions and channels.

You will bring together commercial insight, financial planning and cross-functional expertise to support informed decisions throughout the product lifecycle, optimise inventory, protect margin and drive sustainable growth, while guiding and developing a Planner within a collaborative, accountable team.

Qualifications

• Substantial experience in global inventory or merchandise planning across multiple regions.
• Strong knowledge of Open to Buy management and forecasting.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for senior stakeholders.
• Collaborative, relationship-building across Finance, Merchandising, Planning, Replenishment and Supply Chain.
• Analytical with close attention to detail and practical problem-solving.
• Experience developing others and building an inclusive team.

Responsibilities

• Own global and regional Open to Buy planning across full-price stores, digital, outlet and wholesale.
• Develop a long-term global inventory strategy across the product lifecycle.
• Prepare and present Open to Buy recommendations to senior leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Merchandising, regional teams, Replenishment and Supply Chain to align targets.
• Identify risks and propose rebalancing, markdown and delist actions.
• Lead, coach and develop a Planner and foster collaboration within the planning community.
