Job summary

Burberry is seeking a Planning Manager, Inventory Planning to shape Burberry's global inventory strategy and lead Open to Buy planning across regions and channels. You will bring together commercial insight, financial planning and cross-functional expertise to support informed decisions throughout the product lifecycle.

Working with senior leaders and partners across the business, you will help optimise inventory, protect margin and support sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in global inventory or merchandise planning.
• Expertise in Open to Buy management and forecasting.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance, Merchandising, Planning, Replenishment and Supply Chain.
• Sharp analytical capability with attention to detail.
• Experience developing and mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Own global and regional Open to Buy planning across full-price stores, digital, outlet and wholesale.
• Develop a long-term global inventory strategy across the product lifecycle.
• Prepare and present Open to Buy recommendations to senior leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Merchandising, regional teams, Replenishment and Supply Chain.
• Identify sales, margin and inventory risks, recommending actions to improve sell-through.
• Lead, coach and develop a Planner and promote collaboration across the planning community.
